Seventeen countries in Europe, Africa and Asia border the Mediterranean Sea, and all have contributed to one of the most colorful and vibrant collections of cuisines in the world. Turkey, with one foot in Asia and the other in Europe, is home to a diverse melting pot of social and culinary values. As a result, Turkish cuisine offers a harmonious blend of ingredients and techniques from both the Mediterranean and the East. Café Mangal blends Mediterranean, American and Turkish culinary traditions to create one of the Boston area's most creative, exciting and sought-
after menus.

Chef Mehmet Ozargun has been part of family-owned Cafe Mangal since 2000. Following in the footsteps of his family, involved in food service and hospitality in their native Turkey since the 1800s, Mehmet has worked in several of Turkey's top kitchens and was trained locally by J. Vyhnanek, formerly of the Ritz Carlton, Boston and a culinary instructor at Boston University.

Rated Excellent '07-'09: "An 'intimate' restaurant, whose 'rich', 'elegant' creations are 'worth every penny' may 'feel like you're dining thousands of miles away' - there's 'nothing like it around."' - Zagat ; #1 Restaurant for Lunch in Wellesley - Readers Choice Awards, '06-'09; #1 Restaurant for Dinner in Wellesley - Readers Choice Awards,'09
