Bistro du Midi, the newest addition to Boston's restaurant scene, brings authentic Provençal cuisine to Boylston Street in a one-of-a-kind setting overlooking the Public Garden. Bistro du Midi's rustic yet refined cuisine, wine collection and cocktails pay homage to the picturesque Midi region in the South of France.
"Warm" and "welcoming" are the best words to describe the setting and service at Bistro du Midi. The street level bar/café is open seven days a week, offering a tasty Provencal-inspired menu and delightful cocktails, wines by the glass and bottle collection. "Wine is for Everyone" is the philosophy at Bistro du Midi, and guests will be thrilled to find little-known gems from Provence as well as an 850-references wine list including a large selection of wines from France (prominently southern), Italy and USA.
The seasonally inspired Provencal menu bursts with flavor. Early favorites are the Grilled Sea Bass with fennel, Classic Bouillabaisse, Roasted Chicken For Two, plus oysters, terrines, soups and souffles that are both savory and light, bringing a taste of Provence to Boston in the Back Bay. Come and visit!
