Join Grill 23 this holiday season for their annual Holiday Lunch, served Monday through Friday, December 12-23 from 12:00-1:30 pm. Three course menu; $39.
Baby it's cold outside, so come into Avery Bar, sit by the fireplace, and create your own cocoa at the Hot Chocolate Bar. Choose from decadent white, milk or dark hot chocolate then customize it with selections from a toppings bar of candies, cookies and creams. Adults may also opt for the addition of various liquor infusions. Hot chocolate is served with tiers of scrumptious holiday sweets and pastries. Saturdays, December 3, 10, 17 & 24 from 2-4 pm; $28 per adult ($8 for each additional hot chocolate with alcohol), $21 per child. Enjoy Nutcracker Breakfast with Mrs. Claus and her friends from the Boston Ballet's Nutcracker at The Ritz-Carlton, Boston Common. Sundays, December 11 and 18 at 10 am in The Ritz-Carlton Ballroom; $55 per adult and $38 per child. AND...For the enchanting tradition of Sugar Plum Fairy Tea, The Ritz-Carlton, Boston Common transforms into a Nutcracker dreamland where guests meet and mingle with costumed members of the Boston Ballet's production of The Nutcracker. Join us for delicious desserts, a children's sing-along, and an interactive holiday craft activity. A local organization, Catching Joy, will be on hand with a craft project that will benefit a local charity. Saturday, December 17 at 11 am in The Ritz-Carlton Ballroom; $48 per adult and $35 per child. Tea prices are exclusive of taxes and gratuities, and children's pricing is for guests aged 2-12 years.
On December 13 Legal Sea Foods in Park Square will host the Premier and Grand Cru wine dinner, a four-plus course affair hosted by renowned wine writer Pierre Rovani in the striking 10,000 bottle wine cellar. AND...December 20 is National Sangria Day! Stop into Legal Harborside for a Legal Sangria!
On Tuesday, December 20 Savinos will be participating in the annual Gifts of Hope campaign to benefit the Belmont Food Pantry; they will be donating 10% of proceeds from that evening.
On December 23 a majestic Feast of the Seven Fishes will be served, with optional wine pairings, at Ceia Kitchen + Bar. Executive Chef Robert Daugherty recently unveiled the New England Seafood Market featuring live contemporary jazz favorites at Zephyr on the Charles, located at the Hyatt Regency Cambridge. On display for selection will be hand-picked shellfish along with an abundance of local, seasonal fish straight from the Gloucester Bay day docks. On Christmas Day Chef Richard Garcia of 606 Congress is offering a craft-your-own three course menu with pairings from the restaurant's new wine list. Offerings include hearty winter dishes such as Beef Heart "Bolognese", Maple-Mustard Glazed Pork Shank, Braised Root Vegetables and Pumpkin Creme Brulee.
If a Christmas dinner suits your holiday style, indulge in BOND Restaurant & Lounge's four course Christmas prix fixe menu. Enjoy holiday dishes like pan roasted duck breast "a la orange" or sea scallops in sage brown butter, and complete the feast with a delicious dessert like chocolate croissant bread pudding.
